英国に本校を置くノッテインガムですが、中国とマレーシアの各分校でも、本校と変わらない教育水準の高さを誇っており欧米諸国への編入制度や英国本校との交換留学プログラムも整っています。マレーシア私立大学の中でも特に入学することが難しいと言われており、ファウンデーションコース(大学進学準備コース)は必須です。ファウンデーションコースでの平均IELTSスコアは4.0～5.5ですが、ノッテインガムは驚異の6.0越えです。ビジネス学部や教育学部などに定評があり、本校と授業内容は同じですが、マレーシア校の場合1/2に近い学費で通うことができることも魅力の一つです。 他大学と比較し首都クアラルンプールより車で約2時間近くと郊外にあるため一見不便そうですが、大学の周囲全体が街のようになっており衣食住は近隣で完結します。賑やかな雰囲気を好む場合は物足りなさを感じるヵもしれませんが、勉強にとにかく集中したいひとにとっては最高の環境です。 キャンパス内に隣接されている学生寮は、飲食店やコンビニ、野外スポーツ施設などが完備されており、セキュリティも抜かりありません。
KL都市圏で、最も人気があり治安が良いエリアの1つである、スバンジャヤのサンウェイシティにキャンパスがあります。
留学生の比率は約20％ほど。同じアジア圏や東アジアと交換留学生のヨーロッパ各地からの留学生が多く在籍しています。
日本人の卒業実績が豊富。日本人コミュニティもあり安心して学生生活を送ることが出来るのが特徴です。
国内に２つのキャンパスを持つテイラーズ。総合大学として文理問わず様々な学部があり、他大学に比較して学生数も多い。
